History

Largely known in the automotive business, Mr. Normand Raymond has close to 40 years of experience in maintaining and repairing vehicles. He started out as a mechanic at Rousseau Automobile (now known as Toyota Sherbrooke) where he worked on car brands such as Volvo, British Leyland and Jaguar.

In November 1970, Mr. Raymond acquired the mechanical garage then named Ouellette Auto Body located at 1136 Bienville in Sherbrooke; the business became Raymond Auto Centre shortly after. Working hand in hand with his wife Monique, they performed mechanical and body work and later on specialized their activities on Volvo and Subaru brands specifically.

Finally, in 1990, Raymond Auto Centre changed its name to become Normand Raymond Auto Spécialité.
